Quick Question

ok so yesterday when i took my bike apart to put the fender eliminator i said "whats this" so i opened it and it seems like there is fuel on the little foam thing in the intake box is that suppose to be like that or is something going on that should get looked at?
i also have a aftermarket exhaust so i dont know if the back pressure from having a different exhaust or something might be doing that or if anyone else has that going on or if its suppose to be like that or what could make this happen?
guess my question wasnt quick huh?... =/
heres some pics just in case i explained it all retarted...

That's the air filter. Are you sure it is fuel and not oil? Does it smell like gas? The air filter comes oiled by Kawasaki so that it can trap the dirt and dust.

It's suggested method of cleaning involves a bath of solvent before re-oiling, whoever had the bike before you may have cleaned it & not really oiled it.

/ Just seen its a 2012, don't know why they'd have soaked it in fuel & not used engine oil?

Make sure it goes back in facing the same way it was when you took it out, you don't want the engine sucking in anything that's on the filter already
