Repsol 250 or GTFO????

Does this get anyone else's blood pumping?? This color scheme is my favorite on any bike ever. How bad would it be to convert my pregen into a Repsol colored machine!!!???

I really want to do this to my ninja as well... Been thinking about it for a while, I guess I'll do it some time next year... I have a 2011.

Just posted a pic of the Repsol color scheme and asked for opinions on making a ninja 250 look like this. I wouldn't put the Honda stickers on LOL

Wow I think its sexy! I would have definitely bought that if I had the chance. I'm actually tempted to do that to my bike now...

Why does everyone want to put a HONDA racing paintjob on their KAWI?? Might as well go put some Chevy bowties on your F-150s...

Why do people want to advertise for brands that don't pay them to advertise for them? It makes no sense to me.

I'd like to know the reasoning behind this as well. It makes sense if they pay you, but why do it for free?

It's all about the look. If you are so worried take the Kawasaki and Ninja logos off of your bike. That's advertising too no??

A guy with Alpine Stars logos on his car asked the Anandtech forums why people put Monster logo's on their cars. Knowing that he was an avid motorcyclist, I guessed that he had a few logos on his car and pointed out the obvious motorsports angle. He understood. A lot are "because everyone is doing it" copy-cats, but I do think that motorsports fan loyalty explains a lot. It applies to Ford/Chevy almost as much, though a higher percentage of those are just fanboys.

Painting your kawi 250 in a exact type of repsol scheme with repsol stickers should be an automatic ninjette forum ban. Also a ban from any Honda forum

if you follow JUST the color scheme, I don't see why not. Don't put Repsol stickers on your bike though, that's just asking for it, because Repsol obviously doesn't sponsor Kawi.

Repsol is just a sponsor of the Honda race team, and the colors are Repsol's colors.

It's like a non-subaru rocking the bright blue paint and gold wheel combo. That's 555 cigarette's colors. Even though they can't advertise the brand name, they have the colors on the subaru, and it's stuck.

I like that idea!! I'll do the Orange white and black but put kawasaki in place of repsol on the fairings. If I do it at all. I'm making it into the alien bike now. Alien stickers and green led lights. At least Aliens are green right??

I've always felt a monster version or repsol version should cost less, but that will never work!
