Everyone knows the U.S. is more afraid of sex than it is of decapitating or otherwise mutilating people in all the gore they possible can. Europe rates media as mature for unnatural slaughter, the U.S. rates it mature for a little cleavage. Such a shame.

My wife used to work at a movie theater years back (long before I met her). She told me of this one lady who was taking her kids to a movie. It was a rated R movie, the kids were maybe 12-ish. So the lady asked my wife what the movie was like. My wife told her it was very violent with blood and had several gore scenes in it. Then the lady asked, "Well, is there any nudity in it?" My wife told her no. The lady then purchased tickets for it.

Honestly, I'd rather kids see nudity than gore. It is my opinion, but people are just plain backwards on the subject. Nudity is ok, it is the violence that is out of hand over here. No skin shown on normal TV, but they will show an open chest cavity without thinking...and that is ok to society. WOW.

Like my niece, she admitted to surfing porn sites. She is 12!! Her father promptly destroyed her laptop (which should of had parental control on, but that is another issue) in his rage.

I also caught wind that she was overheard asking some other boy if he wanted to pull her pants down. Yeah, she is grounded, in a BIG way right now.

Skin is ok, but you can't expose them to x-rated stuff at that age (or even give them the chance to surf the net without some kind of filter).
