HELP. Where to buy longer dog bones?
I want to try raising the rear. I read about the shorter suspension links (dog bones), but the only thing I can find on line is from UK and cost me about $100 with the shipping.
http://www.lustracing.co.uk/suspensi...ck-up-kit.html Is that the best I can get? Does anybody know where to buy this in US at a better price? Thanks |

Whats the bike doing or not doing that you want to change? Are happy with the amount of bar pressure needed at mid corner?

I'd like to get a better riding position. I used to ride a S1kRR before, and even with the stock clip ons and rear sets, I was able to lock the forearm against the tank and get a better feeling. I already mounted lower clip ons on the N300. Anyways, I feel the position to be upright and my upper body tends to stay over the tank, thing that didn't happen with the beemer. If I focus on the upper body, I can get it off the bike, but as soon as I focus on anything else, it comes back to the tank. Thanks for any comment. |

Raising or lowering just one end of the bike has major impact on the bikes steering behavior. 8mm of change on either end is noticable but wont be crazy. Adding 30mm to the rear ht at once is a bit scary if you are new to the track. I made that mistake once.

I didn't change the triple position. The forks show for 12mm above it. The clip ons are the woodcraft with raisers, and there are 5mm between the clip ons and the triple. (clip ons below the triple, of course) |

dog bone 6.075 center to center, forks .5 inch showing at the split upper clamp. turn in is crazy fast. no twitchyness felt on the straights, takes some getting use to. my son races r3s dosent like it , but if you put some time in on it you might, just be warned.
