Broken Throttle

Hi guys. Couldn't find information on my issue so I decided to make an account and ask you good people for some help. I was riding to work when I noticed my throttle wouldn't snap back when I gave it some juice so I pulled over and noticed the plastic bit and throttle wire we're broken. My question is if I buy a new throttle cable does it come with that plastic piece or is that a separate part? I wasn't able to find the cable locally so I will have to order online is there any type of quick fixes, I'm very irritated with this as I had just purchased the bike last week and it's my first ride. Please get me back on my 2 wheels I very much despise my car and don't even want to touch or look at that piece of **** 4 wheeler.

I don't know what you mean by "plastic piece". Your broken cable is most likely the result of never being lubricated. Be sure to lubricate your new cable prior to installation. Many new cables are not lubricated when they are manufactured. Motion Pro, for example, will make a cable up to your specifications but advise that you to lubricate it prior to installation because they don't. While your at it apply a thin film of lithium grease to your twist grip. Try not to curse too much reassembling the throttle assembly on the handle bar.

i'm thinkin' Dmitry is referring to the plastic throttle tube....perhaps a cracked or broken "eyelet"? If that is the case.. would justify replacement.
