Is the Pre-Gen Gas tank the same for a 2008-2012?
Hi all,
Just as the title says. Is the Pre-Gen gas tank the exact same shape as the 2008-2012s. I'm looking to buy gas tank pads and the particular manufacturer I have in mind says they only have up to 2007 and nothing forward. If the tank shape is exactly the same I would then order. If not I don't want to waste money. I tried searching on here but couldnt find the answer. Help is greatly appreciated Thanks in advance

No their not but most tank pads are generic and fit on most bikes. I have a generic cyclegear pad on my tank that's just fine.

its pretty much completely different. the sides on the pregen are way bigger. you'll have lots of cutting to do.

Got it, thanks. I guess I will just order a square sheet and make a template and cut
