EBC brake pads I'm picking them up tomorrow just want some fellow riders feed back.

So I'm going to my local Kawi shop tomorrow to buy some EBC brake pads. And I want some feed back from you good people and reviews before I buy.
I'm going to get HH sintered up
Front PART FA197HH
Rear kevlar organic PART FA 141

Is this a good combo?? Not to sure on the rear.

Also should I change brake fluid I'm at 8000 miles.

##How do these compare to VESRAH brakes?
Thanks my fellow riders and stay safe.

fluid should be fine if you dont feel like changing it and arent racing. these are about the same as stock pads. vesrah pads are betteer.

I've used EBC HHs on my ZX6RR track bike for years and they work great. Got them this season for the 250 track bike with good results. Never had Vesrah pads so I can't comment but I am very happy with the EBCs.

EBC pads and SS brake line make my bike soooo happy. I still have the original brake pads and line in the rear.
As for the fluid, the manual suggests you change it every two years.

SS lines are braided Stainless Steel lines. prices depends on where you get them from. It makes brake response quicker - more crisp. still have a little life left in my stock pads, so i dont have anything to contribute in that dept. when i swap my pads out, im gonna be changing my front line to an SS line and still deciding if gonna leave back stock or swap that for an SS line as well.

That front SS line and the Techspec grip are the best mod on my bike so far. You will love it. As for the back, I don't really use my rear brake, so I don't really care.

I run Spiegler lines front and back with Vesrah pads, never had a doubt in my brakes.

The combo is recommended on the faq.ninja250.org wiki. I run it on my bike (along with stainless steel lines) and it's a pretty good set up.

Go buy them on ebay/online though, screw the stealerships.

What color is your brake fluid? If it's still yellowish (light beer to a normal beer) it should be good. If you're seeing some brown in the hue of the fluid it's time to replace it.

Thanks every body for the info. I was finaly able to get my hands on these brakes. After going 3 dealers looking for my FA197HH brake pads. One of the workers told me about a motorcycle junk shop that happen to carry tons of EBC brakes. Also got tons of spare parts for a bunch of motorcycles.

So I installed then up on front in less then 30min.
Test ride with new brake, and they work amazingly good! I love the feel the stopping power.I can already say Im loving the brakes.
Perfect for me and for my style of riding the streets.
If you like Riding aggressively these brakes are pretty darn good.
Oh got then for 34$
Next time I will try vesrah and compare.

Hey thanks for the help an My fluid looks light yellow so it should be fine.
Will change it when I put new rear brakes just for kicks.

This one is useful as well for any future brake pad considerations: http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/What_re..._I_consider%3F

Also if you're considering SS lines, I've bought from venhill (through ebay) for my pregen bike and they had superb customer service. I've heard you might be able to get them cheaper at local places that will make them for you, but I wouldn't know where to start looking for those.

Be careful though; that link is only for pre-gen pads. Here is our wiki entry for new-gen pads:
