Buying new tires - Need Help
Hey,
I'm completely new to this forum and have tried searching for the best tires for a 250 but haven't found much. I just bought a 2011 Black Ninja 250R with 4k miles on it and I'm in love But wanting to put some new tires on it soonish and wanting to hear what some of the better tires are. I don't take it on the track at all just for the streets so let me know! I don't have a clue! |

Welcome Minardo!
The wiki is a good place to look for things like this: http://www.ninjette.org/wiki/Category:Tires I love my sport demons. And don't forget to make an intro post over here

What is wrong with the current tires?

What you will find is that there is no one "best" tire, however you will find a list of tires available in sizes that will fit the Ninja 250 and which ones have been used and reviewed by many Ninja 250 owners. |

If you didn't find anything on which tires are preferred then you didn't use the search function properly. This topic has been beat to death.
Get Pirelli Diablo Rosso IIs.

I went from some chewed up stock tires to the Pirelli Sport Demon tires and have loved them since the first time I rode with them. Way better than the junk Dunlops on my gf's bike.

Get BT45's.... Great grip... better mileage than rosso II + if u dont take it to the track there are no need for rosso II's since BT45 can do it all... BT45 should also be better in the rain

I think it would be good to know what type of riding you plan on doing. I would assume commuting, but is it mainly city, longer distances on highways, twisties?
