Question New Fairings?

Any idea of a website where I can purchase new fairings individually? I need a front right one and a front tire hugger (?)

Try looking here for the parts.

http://www.cheapcycleparts.com/

For the fairing on 2008 and 2009 you will need more that just the fairing like the pre-2008's.

http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche....pe=13&A=6&B=63

You will need the fairing, two pads, and then the decals for the upper section. For a red one the part numbers are:

55028H - Cowling, Right Side Persimmon Red
39156A - Pad, side cowling rt hand lower
39156B - Pad, side cowling rt hand lower

The decals are on another page you can navigate to.

56054A - Decals, rt side Persimmon Red

If the fairing is just scratched can I use these pads for the new fairing?

If the fairing is just scratched you could get a body shop (or someone that paints) to buff it out and repaint if necessary.

The pads are needed if you are replacing the fairing because the new fairings DO NOT come with these pads. The lower one is also a heat shield for the exhaust.

Take a look on the inside and you will see what I mean.

Noche it is just the damage from my low side back in september. I have just left the "marks of character" (lol) but I was contemplating replacing them now that I have more Experience and time in the seat. I still dont know cause the arent horrible but still ya know?
