pregen/late model exhaust question
Im sure it's been done before....but I can't find any write up on it!
I have a '98, & I just can't see buying a Muzzy full system for it at the insane prices being asked for them. I also can't see leaving the stock system on, as it is against my religion to build a "race bike" with a stock exhaust. I want to try a new gen header & a slip on, but I know the exhaust ports on pregens are a little bigger. (I think it's like 1.125 vs 1.250??) will I notice the difference? Will it work? I'd be willing to bet there's little or no perceivable differences, but figured I'd ask here before I tried it, & maybe at least save myself some headache! |

@Racer x has put one gen's exhaust on the other gen, if I remember correctly, and documented the differences somewhere here...

Has anyone spent 500 for the Muzzy 2 into 1 exhaust, looks like there would be weight saving, little of up dated look for the pregen.......
