Red face I am an idiot

So I locked my key under the rear seat while securing my helmet today, anyone know of a non destructive way of getting the rear seat off the bike without a key?

So I just got out of church and it turns out it is pretty easy to pop the rear seat off. I'll post the video in just a little bit

All right so I need to download an editor to cut the video just a touch shorter but the Cliff notes version is.

I stared at the bike
I pulled on the seat (No effect)
I compressed the seat (rear to front)
Repeat step 3
The back two prongs came out
thank God I had the OEM tray in there. I was able to rotate the seat a little and fish out the key

Lol! I remember doing this on my ninja 250 (newgen). I felt like an idiot too. Turns out you can just bend the seat a little bit and if you got small hands just stick them in the trunk and pull the key out

you can pick the lock if you know where it is under the seat. I don't have a 300 so I have no idea, but it's just a little hooked arm that you can compress if you have a long thin screwdriver or pick that you can fit underneath the seat. and a thin pen flashlight. it'll take some fiddling but it definitely can be done. I'm going to guess it's at the center of the seat either towards the back or towards the front of the passenger seat.. if it happens again

I lost the key to my house a while back and used it to get in for months because I was too busy/lazy to get a new key. It also helps for exploring abandoned buildings

I'm known as FASTn50, now SLOWn60 and I have SENILEn65 for when I need it which may be sooner than I expect!
True story: I woke up one morning, stumbled around looking for my glasses but everything was of course; blurry! At least it was blurry until I realized I was actually wearing them! In that nanosecond; everything became crystal clear!
