Bike Feels a bit 'slower' after valve service.
I just got done with my first valve job today. All went well, the bike started right up. Rode 70 miles. It does feel like it takes longer to get to redline though, which it did readily before the work. THe bike idles fine, and runs smoothly.
-I adjusted using the recommended ex: .255/ int:.195 so they're looser than before. Will this cause a noticeable decrease in response as compared to a tighter setup? -I also am wondering if the timing on the crank might be a bit off. I know the cams were timed right. How noticeably worse (or not) would the bike run if it were mistimed as in the above scenario?

With -"IST" endings adding a negative connotation: Racist, Sexist, Polygamist, wouldn't a person who hates bikes be a cyclist? I am no longer part of the order of bike haters. I am a cycler. |
