There's also candy thunder blue for the '09 and in Canada, there was a metallic imperial blue for the '11 model.

Hold on, theres 4 shades?
I have the darker Blue on my 09 bike.
I bought an OEM seat cowl on ebay and in the photo it was a bang on match for my plastics, upon arrival, it is the lighter shade and the seller does not accept returns.

'08 Candy Plasma Blue
'09 Candy Thunder Blue
'10 Metallic Island Blue
'11 Metallic Imperial Blue

I haven't seen the '11 Blue as it's not a US color, but of the other three, '09 Thunder was the darkest. I haven't gotten my '08 side-by-side with the '10 blue for a comparison as yet, but I think the Island is the lightest of them thusfar. Candy Plasma Blue was also used in some pre-gen years, I think '07.

On a tangent, if you've got the '08 blue cowl, I'd be willing to buy it off ya. Been planning to get one and just haven't gotten to it yet.

the 2010 is definitely the lightest of the blues. I also think it's the best, but I'm slightly biased

I am waiting for a price from a friend to paint it, if it's too much, I will PM you. You can have if for what I am into it for if I end up selling it. Or, you could buy the Thunder Blue and we could swap?
