When we get into OC you guys can just follow me to my place to rest your butts take some pics and talk about the ride. Won't be able to come inside because there will be people there but we can take a quick walk to the beach once we get unpacked and chat a bit if anyone likes. No trying to hold my hand @rmorse... LOL 4 MORE DAYS!!!

Painted my side fairings. Not too bad for a rattle can. This is pre clear coat. Should have it done by Saturday I hope.

hahah, i read this on my phone yesterday as i walked up the hill to get my mail and literally LOL'd. Glad no one was around cuz I looked like a fool haha.

well, if we hit the twisties, then it'll be a little more than knee dragging lol!!!. Ill just make sure you are wearing helmet and boots.

edit: and I'm fine riding at night, it's pretty much all highway back, don't have to worry about much deer. I'll just have to remember to pack my clear shield...rode with dark smoke at night once and had to flip it up..a lot of bugs lost their lives that night, casualties of my face.

Just came back from the dealership. They are keeping my bike, and are ordering parts for it. I won't be able to ride with you, guys... I am looking at probably about two weeks before I get my bike back...

Soooo sad....

I wish I kept my 250 as a back up bike (but I needed extra money for the wedding....)

You could always ride on the drunk tower on the back of my bike..i'm assembling it so I can be dedicated rider for these children

Everyone make sure you bring your camera's or phones and take lots of pics with them! We'll take a group pic at Acme then again in Dover and another in OC! Hopefully some riding pics as well!

Just be careful man, and still worry about the deer. In my 9 years of driving, I've only come across deer ON the highway twice, and one of those times were on the way home from Ocean City. I had to swerve at 70 MPH....not fun.

I've also had the "pleasure" of hitting a deer, while riding a bike....I was doing about 60 MPH, and it almost took me out. Just heads up dude.

oh yikes! thanks for the heads up, ill keep my guard sky high then.
i dont ride at night around here because there are boatloads of deer, thought i'd be safe on the highway but guess not!

Of course not, lol.

Long story short (I'll tell you the whole thing when I meet you, if you're curious about it), I was like 18 and on my dirt bike, on the road. Only gear I was wearing was an unbuckled helmet and motocross gloves. Hit the deer, split it in half, went flying over the handlebars. Blew apart my right knee (roadrash through the kneecap), internal bleeding from my intestines seperating from my stomach lining or something like that, DESTROYED my right thumb (they were considering amputating it that night), broke my right wrist, crushed three of the bones in my left wrist. Helmet came flying off and I broke my nose. Road rash alllllllll over me.

Got a helicopter ride out of it though!

Spent two weeks in shock trauma, and another like 6-9 months in physical therapy, etc.

Off the topic, noticed a Honda Rider with a GoPro with a girl rider on an Ninjette on I-95 South today taking the Christiana Mall exit.. anyone who hangs around here?

Yeah there was a little bit of everything. Mostly cruisers but there was probably about 20+ sport bikes mixed in. There was even a few scooters.

It's open to all bikes
