Don't mean to be a pest, but why are we meeting at a gas station? Isn't it better to meet somewhere with coffee and snacks in case people show up at slightly different times? There's a Starbucks right at the corner of McKee and Capitol (3 blocks from that Valero):

Starbucks at 2707 McKee Road, San Jose, CA 95127.

Could that work?

EDIT: I agree with Jiggles re: 10 AM meet, 10:30 clutches out time.

If I go, I'll probably head out and back on Del Puerto to Patterson from the Junction, then continue north on Mines. Del Puerto is some of the best riding in the area.

I'd just be going out to Patterson on Del Puerto eastbound, then right back westbound on Del Puerto back to the Junction. Then heading north on Mines out to Livermore.

Heck no! Where's home base? The freeway takes almost as long to get back to Livermore from there. If anything, just go north a few clicks on I-5 to then come back west on Corral Hollow instead.
