The Official North Georgia Riders Kickoff Event and Ride

Hey fellow Ninjas',

I was trying to get this going in our group section but the threads in there don't seem to notify people as effectively.

So as we were discussing, I would like to try and start a monthly get together/ ride / tech day/ food/ drag stip or whatever.

and have introduced yourself or have ridden with us I will send you the link to the list. If you have a google account you can have access to edit the document, if not you can still view it in a browser.

Lets plan on the 16th of February for the kick off event and a Friday night drag strip night in March.

I have enjoyed riding with you guys and I think we have an opportunity to build a strong group who enjoys our bikes and roads while being safe!

Let me know what you think and will start pinging the local riders .

I think a monthly get-together is a good idea. It's definitely nice to have a group to hang out with and ride with.

I'm out of commission right now, so until I get that resolved I'll just have to wish you guys the best.

@BlueJeepYJ, so where are you feeling for next meet? Maybe Malibu Grand prix in Norcross Feb 16th? March 2nd Atlanta dragway Battle of the 250s (not a offical name just sounds cool) April 20th I am getting married at lake Burton so I will busy that month May something weekend ride to Pigeon Forge. June Athens, July ride to Savannah etc...

Up I-85 a bit from 285 seems to be a decent meet up point. We can meet at a chik-fil-a or Dunkin Donuts in the AM, grab some gas and then head out for the ride.

If there is enough interest, we could plan something like Malibu Grand Prix after.

@GearMonkey - You need to tell the crew scheuler that you have better things to be doing the 16th!

I don't think that the DOT would appreciate my race EX250 on the state's roads, but my shop will provide you guys lunch if you want to meet up one Saturday. Think about a topic you'd like to know more about, and Huey and I will put together a short seminar/class.

No worries, fellas.

Since we've spent some time fielding EX250s in WERA, we've accumulated quite a bit of knowledge about what they like and don't like.

In fact, we're having our first trackday of the year on March 10. I control ride the novice group on my 250, and I'd be more than happy to help out any ninjette members who ask.
