Not sure if you had planned it or not, but in west TX there is the Big Bend National Park. I use to go camping there with my parents, and my first memory of knee sliding was my father hitting the twisties on his 95 ZX6. He had face pain from too much smiling. Highly recommend it.
A really nice place to stay that is pretty close, by TX standards (125miles), is the Balmorhea State Park. The hotel there is just amazing. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/spdest/f...rks/balmorhea/ http://www.nationalparkreservations....FReU7Qod4DyPPA Hope to see you in VA if you are going close to Norfolk/Virginia Beach. |

Hey dude. just checked out the forum. amazing trip you planned!! i must say i am more than jealous! I noticed though that you are going into miami and then north without hitting the keys. I did a trip around florida from daytona and went into key west and it was definitely a memorable ride. try to ride a little into the keys if you want/can. it'd be fun!
Id ride with you from daytona to the north but ill be movin just before you get here unfortunately. Anyway. Have a good rest of the trip! be safe! |

Hey Blue Raven,
The tour is going fine, now in Arizona. Here are a few recent pics: On Hollywood Blvd Leading a parade Nicknamed Blue Ninja After some local canyon carving - not as much fun with a passenger on board |

Do you know anyone with a bike I could borrow for a ride? I still have my gear in the car. Just a shot in the dark. But car or bike, I'll be going to Venice to check out the oil spill situation. |

Anthony, looks like you'll be by Blacksburg, VA sometime next weekend, probably just before heading to WV. If you're planning a stop in the area, (even if it's Roanoke) shoot me a PM, maybe we can link up for a bit or a bite.

Anthony, I'm new to Ninjette.org and therefore to this ride report. But if you haven't gotten to Columbus, Ohio yet, PM me and we can ride together. Fantastic trip! By the way, you may want to consider posting this ride report at Advrider.com. This certainly qualifies as an adventure.

Hmmm no posts in this thread for a while. Hit me up before you hit WY/MT and I will take you on a little tour . I also have a bike for you to ride, if you are traveling by car!
