My Next Life

One of my Uncles shared this with me and thought it worth passing on.

My Next Life

I want to live my next life backwards!

You start out dead and get that out of the way right off the bat.

Then, you wake up in a nursing home feeling better every day.

When you are kicked out of the home for being too healthy, you spend
several years enjoying your retirement and collecting benefit checks.

When you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.

You work 40 years or so, getting younger every day until pretty soon
you're too young to work.

So then, you go to high school: play sports, date, drink, and party.

As you get even younger, you become a kid again.

You go to elementary school, play, and have no responsibilities.

In a few years, you become a baby and everyone runs themselves ragged
keeping you happy.

You spend your Last 9 months floating peacefully in luxury, spa-like
conditions: central heating, room service on tap.

Until finally...You finish off as an orgasm.

I rest my case.

I'm checking my BCBS policy to see if they will cover it.

Sounds alot like "The curious case of Benjamin Button", A very good movie by the way. The main character is played by Brad pitt.

Now that is the way to live, although I think the lifestyle of Hugh Hefner is REAL desirable also.

A touch cynical, but true. My background is an MSW/Gerontology. I did think that my retirement would be spent sailing around on our boat without a care in the world. We got into eldercare in 04 caring for my wife`s parents--now one parent age 86 with Ca and other issues. Does tie one down. Sailing has taken a back seat. A 38` Sailboat that can only be used as a daysailor is absurd. I`ll put her in mint condition and sell her when the economy turns up. In the meantime bicycles and the Ninja are a welcome respite. Somehow riding through the countryside on a beautiful day puts things in perspective. It is really great therapy. How many motorcycles have you ever seen in a psychiatrist`s parking lot?---or bicycles? There is something about moving around on two wheels that is pure--not like driving a cage. Have had some exotic cages in the past, but none can compare to a bike--motorized or pedal powered.
