My first Ride

Ok, i know its nothing like riding long distances or whatever, but Im just excited..

Just got the bike yesterday, first motorcycle, first time on a bike. Started screwing around in the parking lot, then ventured to an unfinished neighborhood, getting the feeling of the clutch/brake/starting/stopping ect. Got brave, hit some little winding side streets near my house.

My first 25 miles on a motorcycle. It was awesome! This little bike is so much fun, amazing feeling. Totally feels like youre flying, but only going 35mph. Cant wait to get back out, and work my way up to some real roads.

I'm in the same boat as you. Just got my bike and I'm slowly clocking the miles here on my street haha. It is an incredible feeling of control!

Welcome to the club Tommy - everyone of us has had that feeling and know exactly what you are talking about. And, I'll bet most smiled when the read your post remembering there first rides. Like Kim said MSF - most important and worth every penny.

The more you ride, the more natural it will become. But... ride within your limits, and don't get overconfident. Good luck.

Says the guy from Long Island?

Its not grid, its just one road between each town, separated by 10-20 miles of farms. They're nice roads, easy rides.

Long Island doesn't have any grid. Just way to many people.

Weird. It shows this when you first click the link. Had to zoom out.

That is weird - that's not where I live...

Does it show Rock Hill, SC when you zoom in?

That is strange. I was wondering what you were talking about saying it was grid.
