Interesting and Strange Suzuki Franken Project
I found this ad on kijiji of this bike and was contemplating whether its worth the time and money. As the weather becomes better , i'm contemplating if I should take on a project. (first one ever btw!)
http://www.kijiji.ca/v-dirt-bikes-mo...ationFlag=true The details of the bike: -Frame is from a 1986 Suzuki 650 Savage -Motor has been replaced and is from a 2002 Suzuki SV650 (unknown mileage) -Fuel tank and seat are from a Suzuki TL1000R What it "needs" is: -Front tire -Battery -Rear shock The seller is no longer interested in the project and that's why they're selling it. I asked if the bike has any paperwork associated with it and the seller said it has a title. (unsure what kind of paperwork I would need in order to sell it after its fixed up, aside from its "title" ) What do you guys and gals think of this ? Does it look like something that may have potential? (specifically to someone that's taking on their first "project build") |

That looks like an SV with DRZ forks to me. Looks like it could be fun though!

That sure does not look like a 650 savage frame.
If the title says 650 Savage my bet is its a stolen SV650. |
