New 2010 Ninja 250R pricing

How much would a new on the sales floor 2010 Ninja 250R be in 2011? The dealer still wants $3999 for it. In my search after the accident, it's the only new 250 I've been able to find. Just curious if anyone has bought a new 2010 recently.

Price does not change and won't for a few years I had a choice from a 08 09 10 11 all same price except the 11 was a se and was 200 more. I got the 09 for the msrp which is 3999.

Who told you that line of crap? No way in hell an 08 (which was $3,500 MSRP) and a 11 are the same price. Even if they are both still "new", one is 4 years older.

Well, through my own experience with looking for a motorcycle here in Northern California whiteboy is correct. The prices don't change, as the dealers charge the same original MSRP for them regardless if it is a '08 - '10 model, but yet here it is 2011. The only time I saw a price difference from their original MSRP was if it was a used one that the dealer was selling and those usually didn't stick around too long even though they were at a higher price than what one should buy them at.

Pricing will depend on your local area and then by your dealership. The best price I've seen here in the city was the major Kawasaki dealership selling SE models at the end of the season for the same price as non SE models. If I were to go 3 hours or more out of the major city areas here, I might be able to find a small dealership selling 2010 or 2009 models for $500 or $700 less than MSRP. These deals are few and far between and usually only a handful of bikes are available.

Last Friday paid 3999 for 2010

Just bought a red 2010 last week for 3999. There was an ad for a dealer 50 miles away for 500 off the 2010s but they had about 300 more in dealers fees than the local guy, so I didn't bother. With tax, fees etc it was 4600ish

I was actually happy to get the 2010

Since I don't think they made a red one this year, and I really wanted a red one.

If you pay attention to the different local dealerships, they will sometimes take $500-1K off because they want to clear out inventory for next years model.

Usually I see this at the smaller dealers compared to the popular ones.

They made you buy an extended warranty? Never really heard of that. What was your total OTD price?

I mighht see if my loacal dealer can get the 2010 model out of the other dealership in a transfer. When I bought my 2011 SE on 4/19, the OTD price was $4924 after buying a helmet, jacket, gloves, tax, and tags. If I go for this 2010, I'd like to get OTD for $4100 if possible.

My local dealer didn't have any extra fees to tack on other than a $35 licensing fee. They were going to check their allocations and see of they could get another 2011 for me, but was told not to hold my breath. Part of me wants to hold out until end of season deals, or try to move up to a ZX-6R if I can get a good deal. Would've rather just enjoyed the bike I had...

dito: I just got a new 2010 for $4500 and some change. OH area here. But that was with some dealer installed mods and a perk;

fender eliminator
non stock grips

and delivery to my house (43 miles one way)

(3999 msrp + dealer fees) - (mods + delivery fee) they wouldn't budge and inch on base price so i went the mod route instead

I hated all the dealer fees but not much I could do about them.
