"The law applies to municipalities with fewer than 2 million people, meaning it wouldn’t apply in Chicago."

Pretty common in Cali even when such a law doesn't exist.

Red lights are just electronic stop signs.

I was glad when I herd this as well. Some of the lights are just ridiculous. Yet, I trigger some of them even with my bicycle.

I came across another thread similar to this. I cant find it no more. It was about a few things (7), people wont tell you when owning a motorcycle. It was like benefits or something. Can someone find it.=P

I've been experimenting with the traffic lights here. There are some that I can trigger if I put my bike on the right side of the lane where a car's tire would be and it works. Some traffic lights it does nothing and I just have to wait till a car comes.

Alright, hopefully our winter ends up being super short. Got to love this global warming... well for riding anyways.

I only do this when I'm in the middle of nowhere and no other cars around. Otherwise, I follow the lights. Sometimes if I get skipped, I motion to the car behind me to come up further.

Having a law like this is just going to have people abuse it, like on a left turn light.
