I have crash tested the Pazzo's both sides and they are fine. I like the shorty levers, and I had to color coordinate - motozen, I believe, is only available in black.

I had some Piazzo copy levers on my race bike, I then changed to ASV and LOVE them. The ASV levers are sturdy, can fold forward in a crash, and the shorty levers generally are less likely to hit the ground and break.

The ASV adjuster is easy to move with one finger as you ride, and is nice for if your brakes are fading, just push out a couple of clicks and your lever is back where you like it. Price seems to be around $200 for the pair, and the inner part of the lever is bike specific, and the outer half is universal (and easily replaced if needed). And finally, they have a 5 year guarantee against breakage!

Only downside; they are now on all my bikes which starts to add up...

I have the $30 Chinese Pazzo knockoffs on my racebike. They're adjustable, go from short to regular length, and fold up in a crash. Also, if I destroy them, I'm only out $30.
