Excellent Afternoon to Ride in Seattle

It's going to be a really nice, clear day here as soon as the fog burns off. There is a kind of major-holiday atmosphere here: at 6:30 am the grocery store was packed with folks buying last-minute food, drink, ice, chips, dips, buns, etc.

Everyone (even passive- or non-fans) are going to be somewhere or be hosting a party. It's like Christmas eve, but without gifts and probably more imbibing.

At 3:30 pm, the streets will be empty in case anyone wants to go for a ride.

I know, I know... I'll be watching, for sure!

Just got back from a pleasant 25 mile Ninjette ride: cool but spectacular for this time of year. Lots of people out and about, most wearing Seahawks shirts, everyone going somewhere to watch. Really is like a holiday!

Didn't see one other motorcycle out on the road, though. Weird for as the weather is.

I saw more bikes out today than I had seen all of january. 6 bikes out and 1 in january. The superbowl was fun to watch, boring game since it was so onesided but it was onesided in the favor of the team I wanted to win
