2012 ninja 250R ignition coil question

ok, put new wiring harness on, but cant figure out which coil connection is positive for the red wires and which is negative as the coils have no + or - signs like normal. lol, pissed because took 3 mths to get it and now I have a brain fart, on the coils, there is green (ceramic?) and black, which is positive or negative, driving me nuts they cant put + - on them, geez. Help. coil 1 (left side) red wire on top or bottom?
coil 2 (right side) red wire top or bottom. I have the wiring diagram but it doesnt even say which side is which.
Thanks.

Red goes to both (connected to the lower tag in both coils).

Black goes to coil #1 (left when seating in the bike).

Green goes to coil #2 (right when seating in the bike).

Caveat:
The colors are reversed on the old and new gen's wiring diagrams, being the one for new gens wrong.

It did for my 6 volts 50 c.c.

Both coils have a common leg or connection, which makes the difference, IMHO.
