Hi guys. A noob question
Hi' My name is Kevin and I just recently bought a ninja 250 for my first bike. I decided to mod it to make it look amazing. I purchased koso rx2, and I am installing it on my bike. I have a question though. Do I need to flush and replace my coolant when installing the coolant temp sensor or I can just go right away and install it without draining coolant? Please answer.
Hope you guys have a good day cheers |

No need to flush... but do you know how long ago the coolant was changed? Can't hurt and you might as well.

Surprise hardware problems while riding can really suck, even to the point of being fatal. Don't skimp on upkeep.

You aren't dealing with a large amount, so just go ahead and replace the coolant since it's already out. Drain the overflow bottle and refill as well. Getting all of the air out of the system can take some doing, so read-up on the procedure so you know what to do to get it filled properly - http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/How_do_...ling_system%3F |

just replace the sensor, but flushing the cooling system may not be a bad idea just to update the service.
