Hey everyone, name's Mike. I don't have a bike yet but I hope to have one coming up in the next month or two.. I was wondering if anyone had any good sites to look for used bikes for sale other then craigslist or eBay. Or are those the best two options to find them? My budget will be between $1500 and $2500/$3000. I'm looking at either the Ninja 250 or a 600cc bike for my first one. I understand the risks/liabilities of the 600 as a starter and I have read a lot of forums and researched a lot as to why it is a bad starter bike. I've also read into the 250 and I think I'd be happy with either one. It just comes down to what I can find once I have the money for a decent price. Hope I am welcome here!

More than welcome. Craigslist is my favorite route. Don't rush, though. And as for the 250 vs 600: the 250 is light and nimble. You won't regret it. Go for the upper end of that budget you mentioned and you could get a low mileage, fairly new ninja that will ride smooth as silk.

neighbor! I'm in Athens. Where in Georgia are you located?
I sold my 250 recently for $1700. Too bad! CL is my only suggestion if you're wanting used.
