Pig Trail + Push Mountain in Arkansas
Been working too hard, so this weekend I bugged out of Dallas for some mental therapy on Arkansas roads. Fantastic weekend. Fall colors were superb.
I usually do Talimena out of Mena, but wanted to try something different this time. Hit the Pig Trail, then scenic highway 7 for the "Grand Canyon" of the Ozarks. Then up to Mountain Home and the wonderful Push Mountain road. About 1100 miles for the weekend on my little 2012 250. Probably my favorite bike ever, because it can not only log those kinds of miles in short distance, but entertains you enormously when you finally get to one of these spectacular twisty roads. |

I really need to ride Push Mtn sometime. I hear great things about it and I'm only 3 and a half hours away. Just need a bike that will comfortably/quickly get me there.
