600 Mile Service Questions
I am getting ready to do my 1000km service on my bike seeing as I was quoted 180 bucks. I did have a couple questions as this is my first bike and it was bough used.
Background: The previous owners had it for 2 years and only put on 480km ~300miles. I know the oil was changed right before I bought the bike...so that's good Questions: Does the fuel tank really need to be removed to inspect/adjust the choke cable? Is it ok to start using rotella t6, or should I finish the break in before switching? In addition to the service I plan on lubricating the clutch, throttle and choke cable. Is their anything else I should look at on a bike that took 3 years to get to the first service. Thanks, Brad |

i switched to synthetic at 600.. i would just go over all the basics and make sure everything is nice and tight and nothing has rattled loose.. check the coolant also.
