I'm personally against the removal of the decals as it takes away the styling and makes it much more plain. But I know I'm not with the majority here. I've seen several people remove the white decals from the 09 SE (same one I have) and I personally prefer with than without on my model as well.

In the end... do what you like... you can search here for pics of your model without the decals and see if you like the look.

**EDIT**
Here you go... I found the pic for you:

I have pics of those specific "splash" decals you're talking about removed. You can see them in my thread "Sakura" and on my YouTube channel "utubingotter"

If you want to see pics without any decals you can just look at the Indonesian or European Pearl White ninjas as they are sold without any decals. Although they have an ebony front fender.

I don't know... to me it just makes it look plain and boring. But like I said earlier I know a lot of people on here love just a plain white bike... to each their own I suppose. If we all liked the same thing it would be a boring place
