Are you looking for a highly modded ninja or just one you can start racing with?

It's on the opposite side of the country but worth a look getting it shipped. I've met the folks who have it for sale and they take impecable care of their equipment...

How much? And what aftermarket items (any of them I would need for racing at CVMA?)

I'm thinking 3.5k

I will give you a Spare stock exhaust, The one on there is dented.
K&N POD Filter *0990*
Jet Kit Designed for the Pods filter.
Some slightly bent but usable OEM Handle Bars.

Also I JUST did the valves adjustment on it, Replaced all Fluids, Fresh Oil. Brand New Chain+sprockets. Fresh Bridgestone BT-16 tire on back

Raised Rear Rearsets

Stainless Steel Brake Line Up front.

That's everything i can think of... Might be some other little things.

My 2009 racebike is for sale
The motor was tuned by Fast Line in Fremont and dyno's at 33.5 horsepower, but it does run on higher octane fuel. All the motor work that was done is legal in the 250 production class in the AFM. The motor only has a few trackdays on it at and two races. The suspension is for someone who weighs 130 lbs. Front end was resprung and revalved by catyalyst reaction. The rear shock is a Penske double adjustable, with a ride height adjustment. Bike has woodcraft rearsets, clip ons, leo vince exhaust, dyno jet kit, K&N air filter, hotbodies bodywork, double bubble windscreen, steel braided brake lines, and crg adjustable levers.

Extra Parts:
1 set of crashed bodywork
1 set of uncrashed/never used bodywork
rearsets
levers
clip ons and bars
extra brake pads (ebc and galfer)
two master cyclinders
radiator
airbox
clutch cable
throttle cable

$4500 or OBO

What kind of work did they do to the motor?

It actually runs on 100 octane not premium gas. The bike could be run on less expensive gas, but wouldn't create the extra couple of horsepower. The cylinder head has been machined in order to increase the compression, which is legal for all production classes in the AFM rulebook. Other than the machining of the head the motor is completely stock. The valves, pistons, and rings are all brand new.

Below is a link to the AFM Rulebook:
http://www.afmracing.org/images/down...lebook_web.pdf

Under section 9.1.11 on page 58

D) cylinder head, cylinder and crankcase gasket surfaces only may be machined for increased compression.

Having ridden with Sarah for the last couple of years and also being very familiar with this bike and Alex with Fastline, I can personally vouche for this bike and confidently say, whoever ends up with this bike and has some talent, will be a front runner in any organization.

If I didn't have my own bike, I would be considering this one.

Just read the CVMA rulebook and decking the head is allowed. It's on page seven.

We've had the "no mods allowed" discussion many times. The rules very explicitly state what is allowed, and are vague about [discourage] anything beyond that. This bike looks perfectly legal for CVMA SS.

Quote:
Just as a courtesy, this is what we envision among
the permitted engine/powerplant modifications. Go
beyond this list at your peril.
• Valve job
• Decking head and/or thinner gaskets.
• Changing cam sprockets for degreeing
purposes.
• Changing bearings.
• Transmissions may be undercut.
• Aftermarket slipper clutch.
• Manual chain tensioners.
• Lightened stock flywheel.
