Corbin seat looks great in solid black. I would have done the same. The one I have on my red 636 has a grey welt. I bought it used but nice to know it will match any bike.

Officially sold my pre-gen 250 today. The friend I sold it to had already had possession of the bike for the past half year. Originally was just lending it to her while I'm on active duty for the year but I ended up buying my 300 and my friend was planning to buy a bike anyway.

Reserved all of Saturday to inspect the valves BUT I couldn't find my servise manual so I figured god was telling me to go for a ride instead, 280 miles of canyons later and I remembered when I hid the manual

So Sunday cleaned air filter, changed oil, inspected all but only adjusted only one valve(all other still on the high side of spec).

Video conference with my friend in LA to design revision #8 to the ZX-10R mirror adapters. Trying to get them in that perfect position to view behind me and still have the mirror in the middle range of its adjustability.

Mounted my rear caliper in place so it will not fall off when removing the wheel and still slide with adjustment.

Finally got it to idle correctly early this morning. Saved the calibration file, and won't be messing with it for a while. Now to get out and ride!

Just got a new addition to the garage though, so I think the bike mike be feeling a bit neglected:

The Focus is not nearly the piece of junk it was before they brought the Euro version over, saw one in person the other day and was fairly impressed. As a Subaru guy and WRC fan I always wondered why Ford didn't bring some of that WRC feel to their small street cars, then Focu, now Fiesta.

Yeah, I've been into the Focus tuning stuff for about 4 years now. Compared to my 06, the ST is not even the same car. The level of refinement in it is insane! Compare the interior to the MS3 interior; makes the MS3 look like something from Walmart.

Nice car!

Yeah, I went from a '06 Mustang to a '13 Mustang a few months ago and the '13 is heads and tails above my '06. And I thought my '06 was good! LOL! But the '13 is just better made. Better fit and finish, better materials, better drive-ability, just better overall.

I adjusted my Scottoiler slightly, it's perfect at the moment but I fear it may be dripping too much as my chain was fairly oily so I just stepped it down a bit "small twist of the top of the reservoir, two second job."

Over 100 miles now, not a single drip noticed on the tarmac, on my wheel or mudguard, yet my chain is nice and oily all the time, I couldn't really ask for more.

Scottoiler V-System, highly recomended!

*they don't pay me, honest!

It's amazing what 5 years of auto technology can do! I didn't think we had progressed that much to be honest.

I agree! The crazy part is my new Mustang has more horsepower, gets better gas mileage and the chassis is tighter than my '06 as well. I hope they keep going on this path!

Right?! Even with all the mods I had on my 06, this stock 2013 blows it away!

Now if they could just shed a few hundred pounds. Drivetrain changes and computer tuning (shift points, fuel mapping, etc) can only do so much. Lighter cars plx!!

Same here. I did order a CAI and tune (which will come in today), but really, it's not nearly as needed as it was on my '06... I was sad that I ordered it a day late though, as I got to cruise HWY 1 yesterday with some friends and it would have been a great time to test it out...

I guarantee that with this new Coyote motor, the weight issue(s) are less noticeable... I have a manual, so the shift points are a non-point, but I guarantee shifting anywhere from about 3k to 6k, the thing just continues to haul a$$! Except 6th gear, that gear is 99% for cruising. But all the other gears are pull hard and are pure FUN!

Would I like a lighter version? sure. But really, it's probably not gonna happen any time soon and with over 400 HP on the current models, it's not something that is probably high on their priority list... LOL!

Went with a JISU black exhaust. This thing does sound great! Minor hiccup during installation, nothing a trip to the local hardware store couldn't fix. I can imagine the noise complaints it will generate so I went ahead and ordered a baffle.

Well... I haven't ridden her in a week and seeing as my car is not drivable... again... I need to get her back out from her mini hibernation. So I got her out of the garage, made sure she started and then turned it back off until I was ready to go. But I didn't think to actually turn the key to off. I realized I couldn't find my phone, so after a 5 minute search in the house plus a 5 minute cigarette break before that... the battery died Being in a hurry as I was tired and just wanted to sleep, I tried my hand at bump starting. Took a few tries, but I got it! I really hope I never have to do that again though. Such a pain in the ass.

I got the project 250 running with the aftermarket diaphragm! Still need to do some tuning of idle mixture perhaps or wring out the excess oil on the air filter.

I have an electrical issue now, that I need to resolve. Also, I'm wondering if my compression tester is faulty or my 10mm spark plug adapter isn't sealing properly. I did a compression test and prior to start-up and it was reading less than 90 psi in both cylinders. I was getting similar readings on my other bike as well.....Hope I didn't tear my other bike down for nothing and the hard start was probably due to a faulty battery and flooded motor......

Finally got a chance and changed my oil to full synthetic Who would have thought that Motul 7100 is red and smells as good as laundry detergent (or did someone pull the ol' switcharoo on me)? Also cleaned/lubed my chain and put air in my tires. Now I just need a new digital tire pressure gauge because mine (slime) has gone retarded. Anyone have a recommendation on a reliable yet not TOO expensive brand?

I've always used the pencil gauge.

Put my new Delkevic slip-on on the bike. Just temporary till the Aera P comes in.

Also dropped the bike leaving my house. No damage just packed the shifter and kick stand full of mud.

what made you get the Delkevic prior to the Area P?

Anyhow, played some with the Project Ninjette that I have now coined Meany. short blipping the throttle from idle the bike stumbles and then goes while long blipping kills the motor. Didn't have enough time to play with the mixture screws. Hard to work under there with a tiny screw driver. Put some seafoam in the tank with what little gas that's in there.

So I'm guessing you didn't order the Quiet Core model from Area P? That's the only one I would get.

Nope ordered the short can. If it gets too annoying for me I'll either buy the quiet core or get a baffle.
