Hello from Las Vegas

Hello everyone! I've been a long time lurker on this page and you guys have helped me out tremendously on my 2006 Ninja 250 over the years. Sadly, after 12 years on that bike, I got rid of her and picked up a newer 2014 Ninja 250!

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Honestly I haven't ridden it enough so the only opinion I have on the bike right now 1) It put a smile to my face when I first test rode it and 2) It feels like the old bike. I literally sold the older one this past Sunday and picked up the new one yesterday (May 19th). I rode it home on a 16 mile ride and took it easy until I can fully inspect the bike and do maintenance on it this weekend. So far so good though!

Thanks for the rest of the welcome.

@DannoXYX, I'm originally from your neck of the woods. Bear Creek Rd, Grizzly Peak (The Wall) and Redwood Road use to be my playground in the early 2000s. I still browse the BARF forums once in awhile too.

Yeah, those are fun roads! Lots of scenic rides through back-roads of Napa and Sonoma counties! Hwy-128 going south from Winters past Lake Berryessa is a fun one.

Not to active on BARF anymore, too many egos. Although they do have good social calendar with listing of rides and parties.

Yes I use to ride some of those roads too. I disliked Berryessa during the boating season because of the traffic but the roads are still fun.

Now that I'm a little older, I actually enjoy scenic rides (Hence why I bought another Ninja 250) although my choice of bikes have not changed. I just wish I wasn't so limited on roads here in Las Vegas. Also, I know what you mean about BARF and some of the egos. I think my last post on there goes back to 2006 or 2007. Like I said, I still browse through just to see how the motorcycle scene in the Bay is.
