is this bike worth fixing?

i didnt know which forum to post in but just wanted to know if this bike is worth the salvage. im still new to the motorcycle world and the mechanics behind it.

i think it just needs new fairings. there isn't very much information on that page though, i'd definitely go see it in person if you even consider buying it.

if the problems are just what they said and all cosmetic they it would be worth fixing, hell offer them a couple of hundred less than their asking price I am sure they expect it. Just look at the bike in person carefully first.

Do your homework on the title issue. The phrase "good title" doesn't necessarily mean that you can get the bike legal for street riding without dealing with a title problem. If the title has a salvage notation of any kind that typically means that there's a recertification and inspection process to go through to get a clean title issued.

thanks for all the responses! im thinking ill just stray away from salvages. they're too much of a hassle and not worth the time.

ill stick to buying a nice black 09 or a new 2010
