Just out of curiosity, was she wearing riding footwear?

What do you think?

Ouch! If that doesn't convince those squids not to wear flip flops or sneakers while riding then nothing will.

Man that was bad! She looked way too calm cleaning/caring for it.

I would expect based on the extent of the injury that she didn't have the proper footwear.

Were there details on the photo shoot? Just wondering how this all went down.

Oh I was going to say those aren't too bad for $79.99. I was looking into these http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com...ktop-Shoe.aspx now they're on sale too. Originally $99.99.

I guess they're discounting now that riding season is ending soon?

They are so bad, my computer won't show the photos - only boxes with X(s) inside.

I get a photobucket bandwidth exceeded error, but this is another good thread on Kawiforums about the same topic that should be read: http://www.kawiforums.com/newbie-cor...ease-read.html

after the OP tunes out in late '06 there's no use in reading....

I don't think she was wearing any decent footwear. I have these for my riding enjoyment dainese-scarpa-dyno and they fit perfectly on me with knee/shin guards on.

Not necessarily, the shoe could have remained on but shred away on the pavement.

Yeah, the pictures aren't showing up anymore because it's so old I guess.

They were so gruesome, I wanted to save them as a reminder to wear AGATT.

After further research, she was wearing full gear, including boots. The damage was caused by a semi tire spinning (not just rolling) over her foot.

I still can't find pictures of it though :/ I'll keep trying.

You can get to the pictures directly here. You may have to manually copy and paste them into your address bar, since I think photobucket is blocking embedded images due to that account going over bandwidth concerns.

So glad I just got boots, though I know in this case they may not have made any difference.

God damn...I always ride with my SIDI ST's, even if I'm just going down to the store. I could give a flying f*ck if I look like a power ranger. They are also just as easy to put on and just as fast to with the side zipper and camlocks.
