I actually asked them to do Kaneda's jacked from Akira since the eBay ones are so bad. I saw a really nice one in some random Google image once but it was Asian and old and not for sale anymore even if I lived there.

I took the risk and bought Kaneda's jacket off ebay back when I was in high school a couple of years ago. Was decent enough quality for regular wearing, wouldn't even use it for bicycle protection though. Someone said I was a drug dealer because of the pill on the back though. When I told the vice principal it was just from a movie, he wouldn't let me leave till I explained the plot to him. While still not as good as the one above, eBay now has a bunch of 30th anniversary replicas for $1,300 to $1,400 including a black one with other movie references instead of the pill.

No one seems to be able to get it right. I'm thinking that a custom-made leather jacket simply must be less than that.

I think the suit is a bit much and too expensive/cumbersome but here is my dedication to batman.

I wanted some night time visibility on my matte black helmet so I got some black reflective vinyl (3M scotchlite 680). You can see what it looks like during the day and simulated night (camera flash) in the pictures.

It doesn't look that bad really. If you do where it you have to be a badness bc they will expect you to whoop your ass. And at that point you take some tear gas and throw it on the floor and disappear.
