Sell paintball pants, get motorcycle pants, win win

Ok here I can scare you into getting pants, other than my leg breaking in my crash, I also got a few scrapes on my knee

See?

Here's the test: Put on your paintball pants, go out into a paved parking lot and run as fast as you can. When you get to your top speed go into a baseball slide. If your paintball paints hold up then you are good to go If the thought of sliding 3 ft @ 15mph scares you then imagine sliding 40ft @ 30mph or worse.

Plenty of people wear jeans, don't crash and are happy with their choice. But I have yet to hear from or meet one person who slid across the pavement in their jeans and didn't regret not wearing riding pants. Totally up to you, just know that if you do go down, you will regret it. I'm not here to judge you, just hoping to help you.

Actually the paintball pants are designed to have hip padding, and knee padding. I would go as far to say that they are pretty much identical to my old fox racing pants. They actually come with the CE armor on the hips and the knees are so thick because paintballers slide so much on their knees.

@Jiggles Pants wouldn't have stopped your leg from breaking though! Lol that needle thing is pretty gross though.

I'd say paintball pants would be fine and a lot better than jeans, as long as you wouldn't mind roughing them up if you fell.

No but they would have prevented that minor scrape. I don't even know how I got that, I didn't slide at all

Padding sounds good, but still they don't have the abrasion resistence. Either way, you could ride with 36" of bubble wrap surrounding your entire body but that wouldn't be comfortable. You gotta draw the line somewhere, wherever you are comfortable. You've got helmet, jacket, gloves, and boots thats damn good. Kudos

Alright but it'll have to be indoors, last time I took off my shirt in public my little cousin got trampled by a horde of beautiful women. It was rather horrific..

Hence the farmer's tan

no worries. They won't look twice at you as long as I'm there. I would worry more about you getting trampled

At least get some kneepads. Went down going 30-40 months ago and my knee is still not quite the same. Massively thick and sensitive skin grew back and it's the worst when I knee the wall while sleeping.

I opted for Fox Racing motocross pads but I doubt they will work too well. Going to get some pants as soon as I clear my credit card debt.
