Turn Signal Issues

Hello,

I have a issue with the turn signals. As of right now I only have the rear signals hooked up and they blink fine and Turn on and off with no issues. When I try and hook up the front blinkers the signal relay makes a weird noise instead of the normal tick and they barley light up and flash. These are not LED bulbs. Any help would be great.

I think if you install higher Watt bulbs with the OEM flasher relay it also has problems like when you swap out for leds but maybe the opposite effect.

are you using oem bulbs?

No, I am assuming they are not OEM bulbs since they are flush mount signals. They are 12v23w, what are the OEM specs on the bulbs?

Here's the relay i installed, it's nice because it plugs right in with zero wires or mods at all.

Here's the thread about it, look at post #25 to see where it goes

I had to go with the Tridon eg22 they did not have the other one in stock. But, the round one worked perfectly and fit into a slot inside of the frame (not on the outside of the frame like the stock relay location) almost like it was made for the round relay.
