The peak of the article will be if you took one unopened to go and enjoyed it at a destination with a view or profound meaning to you. Write with heart first, feeling second and attention to the small details without being too wordy and it will be a great article. After doing much writing, it's the little flaws that make it REAL and THAT is what connects to the readers.

Since your soul searching, why not make a blog?... call it "Beer in the Wild" or something of the sorts. Get paid to review beers while enjoying your journeys. Find a niche and be an expert in that area.

Good luck, best wishes and happy holidays.
Thanks a million, Chris! Always helpful, awesome tips!

Hey guys!

It's been a whirlwind getting back into the swing of things, especially with the holidays, job hunting, and the recent passing of my sweet Grandma.

But things are falling into place. I got a job with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as a ridgerunner on the A.T. This is basically being a trail educator and teaching hikers the principles of Leave No Trace, backpacking techniques, and helping maintain the trail.

Also I've worked really hard to get my blog up and running! Check it out and give me feedback, constructive and positive are appreciated. I've got my hundred mile journals complete with pictures and video clips plus some articles for "newbies" that offer beginner information such as how to treat water, what to eat, etc. Also up is my puppy rescue story.

Still riding everyday, but very busy with work.
