Who all has managed to get out some?

Houston has been on lock down for a bit, but where I live, we aren't.

I ride like mad whenever I can and just enjoy being in the country outside of Houston.

I am patiently waiting for the dirt trails to open again and any chance I have to find a new road or huge patch of dirt to discover and ride on, I take it. Well, almost always....sometimes I just have to make a mental note to return back there to see what is "over yonder".

Hope everyone is able to get out on their bikes. It has helped me more than anything else.

Stay safe everyone!

I've been out a few times on the 250R and ZRX.
The weather is the factor here.
It's been too cold!

Lisa managed her first ride on the 250R.
Took her to the High School parking lot to practice.

Met my brother at the Sunday bike meet spot.
Only the two of us there, and the Restaurant was closed.
Did go for a ride together.

I got out for a nice ride on Tuesday because it was dry and sunny. Here rain is a major factor as well. It really does help to clear my mind.

Haven't gotten out to ride much at all unfortunately. Any chance I have come up has gone to the MTB in order to try and get some fitness work in. Needing some throttle therapy.

They JUST opened the trails out here, and I have my offroad riding permit.

Then....it started to rain. UGH!

So now the trails are closed again due to rain. NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, I'm waiting patiently. I could always go and get my hunting license and go hunt in the woods. We shall see.

I am glad that I can get out on my KLR to go to work. I may find a side road or something to cruise down here and there next week.

Ive gotten out a little! I've had my bike for 4 months and put a whopping 130 miles on it Riding motorcycles is seen as 'social distancing' (or, anti-social? ) so it's not frowned upon, here. now, Im worried i will get spoiled. There is no traffic, its quiet, no raod ragers,it's going to be hard to go back to 'normal'.
I think I'm going to take advantage of the nice weather and oil my chain and put a coat of wax on the lil Zee ...

Thumbs up

I have been lucky, this is the most street riding I have done in 12 years. I have been teaching my son how to ride and we have been going out during the week and the weekend, weather permitting of course. Some of the tracks i ride are starting to open up. I did a track day memorial weekend and have another one this coming sat. Have a weekend trip coming up in June to NCBIKE. SOOOOOO,the season is ON!!!

I know it's my fault, but every time I see this thread title I see it as "Who all has managed to get some?

I had a nice 120 mile ride with a friend yesterday in perfect spring weather on back country roads. Out here in the NC woods and tobacco fields there isn't much impact from the virus (yet).

172 mile roundtrip on my Ducati SS800 this past Sunday, bud on a 600RR, destination Montauk Point lighthouse, easternmost tip of Long Island (New York). Some Hamptons nightmare traffic was inevitable.

I've been out riding every few days even if it's for a short jaunt around the neighborhood. Been getting in some nice long rides on the weekends. Usually 150-200 miles to get an ice cream.

So, I got my bike with just under 6000 on it. I'm now around 7500. That is in a little over a month.
