Added a ZX6R

I'd been lusting after one for a couple of years now and finally got it done. I picked up a well maintained, adult owned, '06 636.

I'm not unloading the 250 yet, I still love that bike as it gave me the confidence to get back on two wheels and a much better respect for the capabilities of these larger bikes.

Congrats on the 6R! They are my favorite 600 out of the 600s. Lots of personality. And Power!!!

I agree. Having 2 bikes with different personalities is great. I've been riding my 300 a bit the past 2 weeks, but took the 6R out today into the country. Super fun time.

Try to hold onto the 250 if you can, you'll use them differently. And appreciate each bike for different reasons.

Congratulations! Got a 05 zx6r myself.. while the ride is fun, I am having issues with the heat from the right side where the mid-pipe crawls.. thinking of installing a heat wrap to mitigate.. let me know if you have the same experience.. nice exhaust by the way, was that shortened?.. can you post a video on how it sounds?

The heat is pretty common from what I was told, I didn't think it was going to be that bad until I rode one for myself. I don't think mine is shortened, it's a really clean install like everything else on the bike. I'll post a better video when I get a chance, I just have a short walk around for now

yeah.. could have been perfect if not for that! will heat wrap my mid pipe this week end.. will let you know if there is any improvement.. my friend, who has a ducati panigale swore my "heat" problems will go away after installing the heat wraps.. he had it installed for his mid pipes too..

Jet Hot coating is the way to go if you can stand a little bit of downtime and a little more money.

Nice bike! But my eye is on those ramps. Do they come with something to make them stack like that?

Mine too. I almost bought a different one in white with some custom graphics but it sold before I could make a move. Strangely enough this bike feels much more comfortable despite its aggressive ergos.

I have no idea, the lady who I bought the bike from, her husband uses them to transport his track bike. It was a little unnerving walking it down but he had the front end and knew what he was doing. He said he just powered it up the ramps to load it.

Nice bike. I always thought the 05-06 zx6r was the best looking one of all generations. I used to have a 03-04. This bike is FAST!!
