Puig colored windscreens

Has anyone seen any of the colored Puig windscreens?

I'm curious to see how the blue screen looks against the Candy Thunder blue, but I don't want to spend the $100 sight unseen - if it doesn't match closely enough, I won't be happy with it.

I saw a blue one on a zx-6r the other day at school. I was not fond of it. It matched well, but just wasn't my taste. If the bike is there on Monday, I will snap a photo for you..

Awesome, thank you!

I'm thinking it'll be too much and I'll likely end up with light smoke, but I was intrigued by the colors.

Yeah, matching colors is a bit much. If you were gonna go smoked, get the dark. We have light on one bike, dark on the 250r.... its much nicer

I was thinking of the red for my bike at first but then decided to go with the dark smoke. I've seen the light smoke and personally think the dark looks way cooler.

Matching colors is a bit much. There is an older Kawi that sits on the main street of a nearby town that has a neon green windshield and in my opinion it doesn't look very good at all.

Found a nice picture for you, blue 250R with blue ZG windscreen.

I personally don't think it looks too bad, but I like the look of the dark smoke one better.

Like some of the others have already said but I like the contrast of the black screen against the blue rather than the blue on blue. Just my two cents.

I looked in more detail at both DIYs, and decided that I like the look of the ZG screen a little better, even though they're very similar. And since I'm not worried about colors anymore, there's really no concern about how they look - the look of the blue screen on the blue bike is just too much for me.

I ordered a blue Puig screen for my blue 250. I think it's gonna look cool. I wish it would hurry up and get shipped already, I've been waiting nearly 3 weeks.

How much was the ZG screen? Maybe I'll ask the dealership about ordering that one instead. Mine was supposed to ship out on the 23rd of March and now they are saying the 15th of April -- ridiculous.

cost

It was $70 plus $12 for shipping for a total of $82.00. Why use the dealership to order it, it may cost more then.

It didn't cost anymore through them than online. I used my Kawasaki Good Times card to pay for the windscreen and exhaust so I had to use the dealer. I got the exhaust right away but still waiting for the windscreen. It's their vendor that I am waiting on. I think it's a double bubble screen that I ordered.

I bought the double bubble. The sports touring of course offers more wind protection. I have seen pictures of Ninja's with them and they look alright but they are a little too tall for my liking. I feel it might take some away from the sporty look of the bike.

I thought about the touring one but changed my mind for the same reason. I am not going to be doing a lot of long rides on my Ninja. I use the Spyder for that which has a full sized windscreen on the front.

I got the dark smoke Zero Gravity double bubble one on mine and it looks "Th3 s3xy!". One word of advice for anyone installing these screens is that you should buy a packet of well nuts (aka..the rubber nuts used to hold the screen and farings).

http://www.desmoparts.com/ducati/wellnut/wellnut.htm

The 5mm well nuts are the ones to buy. Buy in bulk IMHO because you can never have enough of these things if you are going to mod the bike or do any work which will require removing the farings.
