I use Motul on my 250 and Repsol on my 600. Have you guys used Repsol? Freakin' awesome! No funnel needed (has an inner snout incorporated) and smells awesome!

20W-50? that's heavier both cold and warm.

10W-40 is what is recommended by Kawasaki.

Ha ! Castrol 10-40 mc oil, from Advance Auto. Works great and its close to my house. As a side note its the only oil I can find that isnt synthetic around here.

I just switched by bike to synthetic Mobil1 10W-40... I should have done it sooner it shifts like a dream compared to regular motor oil.

Currently running Amsoil 10w40 full synthetic, found it on sale cheaper then Rotella T6.

Been running Castrol Act Evo X-tra 4T 20W-50 for the last 2 years. I've used K&N, WIX and Fram oil filters and the only difference I've seen between them is the amount of money spent.

so synthetic or no synthetic? i just got my 08 ninja 250r and im soo confused what to use! i have a k&n oil filter coming tomorrow, but i need oil and dont know what to get!

That depends entirely on how many miles your bike has done... Dont even think of fully synthetic before 5000miles... Till then you can use semi synthetic...
