Clutch Basket removal

Hi

I’m having a bit of trouble removing the clutch basket from my n300 2013. Can anyone who has actually removed it please confirm if the clutch basket retaining nut is a normal or reverse thread?

Cheers Nick

I haven't done it, but the service manual says:

Holding the clutch hub (B), remove the nut and washer.
Special Tool - Clutch Holder (C): 57001-1243

No mention about reverse thread.

Thanks for the reply, I have the manual too. Granted it doesn’t mention it but it also doesn’t mention that you should be able to pick the bike up with a breaker bar before it lets go.

as a rule, (most times) a nut will be threaded the opposite direction the shaft turns, so that it's always trying to tighten. I do not know for sure if the basket is left or right threaded.
