Vardenchi T5


MOTO MORINI and Mumbai-based custom motorcycle manufacturer Vardenchi have launched a new 118hp cruiser at the Auto Expo show in India.

The T5 has been designed and developed by Vardenchi but uses a 1187cc V-twin engine from Italian partners Moto Morini.

Marzocchi upside-down forks and an Ohlins shock are mounted to the bike’s trellis frame. The T5 gets 19” and 17” front and rear spoked wheels, the production model however will be fitted with alloy wheels.

Stopping power comes from Brembo brakes, the T5 also comes fitted with a digital instrument cluster.

Moto Morini and Vardenchi’s partnership began last year, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer taking care of promoting the T5 internationally, whilst sales, distribution and service was handled by Vardenchi.

According to Motorbeam who provided the pictures, the T5 will be priced in the Rs. 8-12 lakh range (£7,850 - £11,770).

The company aims to sell 600 units annually increasing to 2000 units over the next five years.
