What do you guys think about this? I'm willing to do a gb on them if I can get a couple people to dive in. $485 shipped for front caliper, disc, mount. You can add the radial MC for $100.

More info needed.
How many and what diameter are the pistons, what diameter is the rotor? Any stopping distance comparisons?

+1

It would be superbike legal but there are talks now to allow, at least, aftermarket rotors in production. I'm not sure if the new calipers/MC would be included.

are you getting this from sportisi as well? cos if you are, i would be interested to get a price from Santoso over here in Bali cos they look sweet!

these calipers work with the standard rotor? its for the same diameter? somehow looks like its a bigger diameter rotor in that pic. cos i would keep the standard rotor till i wear them down and then replace them later down the road~

i wonder how much more the brake pads cost compared to the standard HH pads though... lol

ah, thanks Matt, but i was hoping that if they were from here in indonesia (or one of our close asian neighbors and being sold through sportisi) that i might be able to get them for a little less than your USA price.

But it would cost even more to have it sent over here from the states. i also take my time mulling over what mods to do next so having that as an easily accessible mod over here i would put it on my "to buy / wish list" hehe

my to do list still consists of:

*engine porting and re-tuning by Sportisi
*CR carb... cant decide if its something i wanna do or not, lol
*these brakes (although I'm quite happy with the stock brakes as they are, but the after market ones look sweet)
*front flush mount blinkers (if we ever get nice ones here)
*rearsets
*clipons (haven't seen one that i really want yet. i want to keep the handle bar weights, and all the clipons dont seem to have them here)
*Scott's CF rear Tire hugger for 150 size wheels,
*battlax 110 front wheel when my stock ones wear out.

uh... im sure there are more, but im slowly getting to the more "optional" and a little more expensive mods now, so it takes me longer to save up and decide to blow the money on them

its gonna be a never ending story im sure~

The xrace clipons use bar weights. I would send these over at cost plus shipping from the manufacturer for you Wayan you only would have to pay sportisi for install.

is it like this one? looks like its just the clipons, are the "weights" built in (lead? lol) or is that a separate piece that goes over the ends like on the stock bike?

just asking, since i think the X Race clipons and rearsets are available here as well. ive seen the rearsets at at a shop, and that image is from some indonesian forum.

thanks for the info regarding the clipons!

is ALL of the leather kevlar reinforced? Or is that just the stretch panels? Does it use keprotec or some other kevlar-based material?

i would have thought that they send bombs out, and not into Indonesia! but i guess the consumers are here, and the the producers are there when it comes to artillery/firearms

im not a happy chap when it comes down to bombs, almost lost my mom and brother in the last Bali bombings... both still have hearing problems in their one ear

back on topic; looking forward to receiving it, thanks!

I am wondering if you could get just the bracket and rotor? I already have a set of Radial Calipers just sitting on the bench for another project.

Matt,

Does Sportisi carry a tank grip pad? Seem to recall you do. Choices and cost?

I know the company that makes them and the owner. But I will not be importing those. They are to close to the sportisi models.

just get ze ones from matt, they look so similar (almost cant see the difference without getting both items side by side), and at least you know that you will actually receive your goods! since a heap of others have already bought and installed those sportisi huggers

or just do what i do... give your bike a hug now and again, and tell yourself the bike has a hugger!
