I'm not too far north of the city. There's a western PA group on this site but it seems quiet there. What part are you moving to? Lots of good routes up here but winter is rough on the surfaces. You'll find fun roads quick.

Not many riders on here from Pburgh, the 2 i can think of might poke in here every now and then but i think they both go different bikes recently, Dan for sure.

Yeah I poke in here occasionally. I second subzero I don't ride with the Pgh group much as I live south and not as young as most of them. Where you moving to? The Burgh area covers a lot of western Pa. Facebook is where most bullshit check out western ps riders - 412ridrrz on FB.

I'm moving to the city proper like .. next to UPMC shadyside. I know a good amount of people who ride there but just wondered if there was anyone from ninjette

Pittsburgh is a fun town. Plenty to see and do. I can't imagine you'll have a hard time finding riders there.

Pretending you like the Steelers will help you blend in the with the locals

Hope you got a garage for the bikes. All the city riders hang out on Mt. Washington overlook, there's usually a bunch of bikers there every night. If you want good riding you will have to travel a bit out to the country! Or really like to ride short distances to a restaurant for dinner or bike night.

@Finesse, I seem to recall you are pretty healthy about your diet. East End Food Co-op isn't far from where you'll be. Lots of local and organic there. Cheaper than WF too. Used to live in walking distance of there.

I live in the city near the East End. Welcome. They've done a lot of repaving luckily, so you've dodged a lot of that. If you're a foodie you'll love a lot of the newer restaurants. Also try Pittsburgh Area Sportbikes, they're a decent fb group for locals.

yeah I'm on that FB page. I've met two of the guys who are pretty involved with it. moving in less than 2 weeks... I'm bringing my ninja so if you see a loud black 650r with a blue logo on the windscreen wave to me
