Koso gauge install question
Hey guys
For those who have Koso gauge with plug/play kit, is the fuel gauge work or do you have to hack the harness to connect the fuel wire? Thanks |

I bought my Koso before the Plug in kit came out. All I had to do was splice the wire in and adjust the resistance setting on the gauge.

Thanks Ken...I read the DIY Koso thread and OP said he had to hack his plug and play harness to connect the fuel wire to it...while another user (wayne-something from Indo) said his harness is a direct plug in and fuel gauge works... I'm wondering if there are two harnesses out there...

If I remember correctly, the stock fuel gauge wiring has round eyelet terminals. I just cut them off and spliced the Koso wiring to it.

Anyone knows which wire is the speed signal wire coming the Koso pickup sensor. There are three wires: red, black and brown. I'm thinking brown. I need to know to hook it up to gear indicator. Thx

Brights??
On the plug and play kit im having a problem getting my brights to register with the guage. as if the guage doesnt even recognize the brights toggle switch.. anyone have any ideas?
