Custom fork tubes.
Well after my 500 mile ride this last weekend my left fork started to leak. Fork cleaning tool didn't work. Just had the oil changed in them. Lucky me my shop is doing them for a 100 bucks so i don't have to. plus seal and wiper ill buy. Any how keeping the bike stock isnt happening anymore. I want clip-ons so i can use nice preloads on top also. let me rephrase that, I want clip-ons on top of tripples.
We all know there is 12mm space on top that comes oem. Lowering it WILL NOT HAPPEN. I am 6 foot 4. So Question is anyone ever heard of or used franks forks. I am waiting on a quote to get them 1" over on top so clip ons can mount. springs for me are on the way, and havnt decided if i want to do the gold valve yet. If anyone knows of someone that custom makes tubes and are good im willing to give them a call also. |

Second option I found
Second option I found was roaring toyz makes a nice 1 inch riser so oem bars can go on top and a preload will fit under them. Or sato makes a nice pair of clip ons that mount using oem holes. I still like the option tho of black fork tubes a little longer to give me room to play with things.

Woodcraft clip-ons with risers will fit as well.

Got the bike back today
Well today I got the bike back from the shop, I had the fork bushings, seals done and racetech springs put in along with tamper triple bearings. Front and rear wheel bearings are new as well. Everything old was still in great shape just had 25k miles on them. I drove it home one mile so ill take it out tomorrow and push it through some carzy twist and turns. Just the one mile ride i can say its stiff.
