I've never ridden either, but the Buell's engine is nearly twice the size and puts out twice as much power (34hp/30ft.lb. vs. 17.8hp/13.6ft.lb.). "Performance" consists of a lot of different metrics, but assuming the rest of the bike doesn't have issues, I'd think the Buell is out to a quick lead in this race.
